Blue and green planes cross and appear to turn through one another. Their edges suggest wings, but the image remains geometric rather than becoming a literal butterfly.
The form is constructed from exactly 1,000 straight lines. Overlap and color create the impression of folded surfaces and movement. Blue Morpho takes its name from the butterfly as a visual reference, exploring how a carefully ordered pattern can suggest something alive.
